Lady Africa Bush Lodge – House Rules & Helpful Info
At Lady Africa, we aim to provide a peaceful, nature-filled escape for all our guests. To ensure everyone enjoys their stay, we kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with the following guidelines:
Music & Noise
To preserve the tranquillity of the bush, no music or loud noise is permitted at the lodge. We ask that all guests respect this rule. Guests who do not comply may unfortunately be asked to leave without a refund.
Bookings & Payment
Bookings are only confirmed once proof of payment is received. We accept EFT only — unfortunately, no cash, card payments or cheques can be processed on-site.
You are welcome to book and pay online through our secure booking system.
Catering
We are a self-catering lodge. Please bring everything you need for your stay, including food and drinks. There is no restaurant or shop on the farm.
Gifting Vouchers
Want to treat someone special? We’re happy to issue personalised gift vouchers on request.
Cancellations & Changes
Please note we operate with a no refund policy. However, should your plans change, you’re welcome to:
-
Move your booking to a new date
-
Transfer your stay to a friend or family member
-
Convert your booking into a voucher for later use
We’ll gladly assist with any of these options.
Our Culture
Lady Africa Bush Lodge is a peaceful retreat designed to help you reconnect with nature. We pride ourselves on being a gay-friendly, non-discriminatory lodge where everyone is welcome.
We kindly ask that you bring along:
-
A respectful attitude toward the bush and fellow guests
-
A willingness to embrace quiet, quality time in nature
If you’re planning a celebratory or party-style weekend, we recommend booking the entire Safari Camp to ensure you have the space and privacy for your group.
Right of admission reserved.
Children
Children are welcome at the Safari Camp only, and additional charges may apply.
Pets
Lady Africa is proudly pet-friendly! Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing your furry friend along.
Self-Drives & Game Drives
As we are a game breeding facility, no self-drives or guided game drives are permitted. You are, however, welcome to explore the area on foot or by mountain bike.
Motorbikes
While you’re welcome to arrive with your motorbike, riding around the farm on it is not permitted.
Road Access
The road to the lodge is in excellent condition and suitable for all vehicles. The final 2km stretch is a well-maintained gravel road.
